Update on the status of the Norton Village Hall Management Committee (NVHMC)
Please find (as an attachment) below the full text of today's note to Norton Parish Council outlining the refreshed status of the Norton Village Hall Management Committee (NVHMC) following the latter's en bloc resignation on October 5th.
We are happy to announce that the NVHMC will continue to manage all aspects of the village hall's operation, and we are recommending a complete review of governance, structure and function of the village hall committee, together with the Parish Council, by the financial year end, end March 2022.
In the meantime we continue to support the Parish Council in seeking loan financing for our proposed development project at the village hall, and we welcome any new recuits to our ranks from those within the community who might be keen to contribute to our important community facility.
