    Ideal for improving fitness and/or losing weight, classes include optional weigh in, short informative talk, then 45 minutes of exercise. At Norton we do a mixture of aerobic type exercises (suitable for all levels of fitness) including dance style aerobics, boxing style classes, Disco'cise and HiTT. Come along and join us for fun, friendship and ‘weight loss support’ through weekly classes, motivation and encouragement via supportive members, and a Facebook page from me and fellow members.

  • Silver Swans

    In Silver Swans, we cover the foundations of ballet making it accessible for participants that have never danced before, or haven’t in a while! The movements are easily adaptable based on ability to make sure it is at the right level for each person. It’s a perfect way to improve mobility, posture, coordination and stamina. You will learn the classical ballet movements and terminology, dance to choreographed pieces, and listen to well know ballet scores. I ensure to create a positive, comfortable environment for participants so they have fun and feel relaxed!

    Hula hooping is a fun, playful way to move the body, with the added benefit of strengthening the core and supporting posture from head to toe.

    Hula With Abs offers mixed-ability, beginner-friendly hula hoop fitness classes that welcome adults of all ages, sizes and experience levels. Classes are designed primarily for adults, with well-behaved teenagers welcome when accompanied by an adult, a reminder that hooping can be discovered (and loved) at any age.
     
    While the focus is on enjoyment and inclusivity, classes can still be as challenging as you want them to be. Hooping can feel light and joyful, or deliver a surprisingly effective full-body workout, without the pressure or intimidation of a traditional gym environment.

    A fun low-impact exercise to music class suitable for all abilities, but especially suited to older adults. Experienced, qualified Instructor. Emphasis is on improving your flexibility, strength and cardio-vascular fitness with plenty of alternatives. Some floor work, but clients can choose to use chairs instead. No need to book, but ring me (07713 260287) if you have any queries.

     Daito Ryu is a 900 year old Japanese martial art focusing on unarmed defence against armed and unarmed opponents. We respect the art as it is taught today in Japan, follow the same class structure and practice Japanese etiquette.
